I have two years experience volunteering for Cow TV (student tv programme on Dunedin tv station Channel 9).
I was mostly doing interviews with touring musicians and other various pieces of field reporting.
I also learnt editing and camera work
Self explanitory really. I enjoy talking bollocks on the radio. I could handle myself on the journalistic side of things or even letting other people join in on the bollicks with some talkback. In fact that could be a bit of a laugh.
I have briefly worked in the more "serious" side of the media with the local news team at channel 9. I found this just as much of an interesting experience and it's something I'm hoping I'll be able to pursue in the future.

Oi fans of New Zealand Drum and Bass scroll down my profile and add Serious Business tv. Good stuff. NZ dj's and producers make sure to add yourself and have a look too. I'm hoping when enough episodes are in the can I'll podcast the beast but for now youtube is the home. Nice one peeps.
Well I guess I'm not really that independent anymore. I have a sweet job working on a website, no they're not paying me for time wasted on myspace but I do various bits and pieces for www.tvnzondemand.co.nz so have a look at it and keep me employed. Nice one.
Details of other tv stuff I'v done with myself can be found in my networking section and please rest assured that I'm not resting on my laurels. I do have a couple of things I'm working on at the moment. Hopefully the time will be right to tell you all about these projects soon but for now you'll just have to wait in suspense.
There was a section here talking about how I like to write but as you can see by the dates on my blogs the tv stuff is kinda killing the pen. I know, I know, what would my gradma and all the other academics say? Well I'm sure once I'm big enough on tv people will pay me to write for them no matter how bad I am.
Is that me being arrogant or is it stinging social commenatry, you decide.
That's the professional stuff, here's the personal stuff:
I'm fun, friendly, easy going and many other cliches.
As you might have gathered I'm a lover of music. I'm mostly into drum and bass and hip hop but I do listen to a wide variety of stuff. I'm mostly found in fu bar or at the safari lounge.
As you can see I'm a graduate of the University of Otago so I've still got a found place in my heart for Dunedin. One of the good things about the Dunedin university experience was the road trips undertaken as a result. I now feel I'm truely in touch with the whole country as opposed to being one of those Aucklanders who won't even look out their window. I'm still hoping to keep up with traveling the nation. In fact the aforementioned projects do involve a significant ammount of travel so I might see you soon no matter where abouts in the country you live in
To sum it up I'm a good guy so say hi I'll say hi back because my mum raised me proper.

People with an interest in film making and/or a passion for good music.
Anyone who enjoys any of these silly vids I've been involved in or the smack I've written in my blogs.
In general: Good people who enjoy good times and good music or hot chicks. If you happen to fall into both of the above then so much the better.
I guess the whole good music thing is a tad opinionated but I'm more talking about people who do it for the love and not the dollar and for the fans I'm talking about someone who is open minded and can appreciate music for what it is as opposed to being narrow minded and confined to one genre.
I'm always happy to meet outgoing people as I'm rather outgoing myself (some might just call me a loud mouth) and I can relate to most people.
I can never get this section to flow right but I guess that's because who really knows who they want to meet? You just have to meet them first.
Feel free to add me if you enjoy the videos and or blogs. Cheers for visiting my profile.
Here's a video of me out and about meeting some people on a sunday morning. Yes kids it's the infamous walk of shame from Cow TV.
