SUMMER 1997-Charlie, Tron and Brett form Joe Jitsu(known then as Rockbottom(dumb name))
1999-Officially change the band name to Joe Jitsu(equally as dumb)
MAY 2000-Record our first Ep, "Lonely Teens Club". We loved Green Day. Just Listen.
2001-"LTC" released on Brucemonkey Records of Salem, OR. Gets great reviews in "Hit List", "Now Wave" and "Mutant Pop"
2002-Brett moves to Arizona. Tron and Charlie record the "Severed Heads" Ep but never officially release it.
2003-Kye moves from Corpus Christi and joins as 2nd guitarist. Awesome!
2003/2004-Record "Start It Up" at The Control Room and release it on Poppy Robbie's label "Top Five Records". Play Texas extensively. Pop punk kids start to notice us.
FEBRUARY 2005-Record the "Catastrophe" Ep in 2 days.
SUMMER 2005-Release "Catastrophe" on "Top Five" and head out on our first tour. Play with bands like The Ergs!, Modern Machines, The Rushmores and more. Fun!
SUMMER 2006-Bigger, longer east coast to mid west tour. Meet tons of bands and friends. Fun x 10!
JANUARY 2007-Record "The Perfect Life" in Tulsa with Stephen Egerton of Descendents and ALL. Nail the Beach Boys cover. Just listen.
FEBRUARY 2007-Poppy Robbie joins as 2nd guitarist. Super awesome!
JULY 2007-Insubordination Fest in Baltimore. Whoa.
NOVEMBER 2007-Release "The Perfect Life" with God-awful cover art
MAY 2008-Play last show, break up and release sappy coffee table book.
