painting, stenciling dots on everything, creating weird visual texture, breaking the rules, being a rock star, making little scratchy sounds, adding effex to already weird noises, knobs and buttons, fire, clean dirt, the smell of spraypaint, blurry photos, avacados, cute girls

About me: I'm an Artist and Designer. I also make music. Primarily, I paint in acrylic on canvas and wood; however, I use most any visual media I can get my hands on: spraypaint, ink, watercolor, collage, and my laptop. I've been drawing into the laptop with a Wacom tablet recently and loving the new interface. I have a gallery in southeast Portland called Artdamaged Gallery. You can find the link in my top friends. I also exhibit my art each month in various venues around Portland and the west coast. My portfolio of design work has been growing with many concert posters and album covers. If you know a cool band that needs good art, please send them my way. My rates are fair and I love doing music related artwork.
My website has been updated as of February 2007, and you will find well over 300 images of artwork, illustration, design samples, and sketchbook pages.
I love music almost as much as artwork. I'm a dj and turntablist. I spin records, play laptop dj sets, manipulate and scratch vinyl and sample from my laptop using various software and midi controllers. I'm part of the electronic music duo Surrounded By Ninjas. You can hear tunes here on myspace or at our website. I have also been working with a newer project, SubAtomic, which is and electronic fusion qartet. I'm practicing drums also, and have finally started jamming with other musicians and practicing my sampler drums as well. I bought a bass guitar, too, but I have some work to do before I'm ready to sit in with it. 8)
Who I'd like to meet: creative expressionists. musicians that do it for the love. artists following your passion. entertaining weirdos.

im not promoting apathy im promoting the truth....to understand how social movements work...you have to understand where they get their power....and how they figure out how to control that power to their best of interests.......did you know who obamas foreign policy leader is? well its Zbigniew Brzezinski........only the man who created our terrorist problem......which isnt a real problem...its an illusion of fear and control......look how much the US has changed in the last 8 years....... another point is that elections can be cheated......and if you dont think so look what happened in 2000.....i think the only person for the job is ron paul....and thats who i voted for........ the lesser of two evils is still evil and im educating people through my art.....if you click on the links i have some information to read about why i feel this way........
Not for the first issue. There were some hold overs from doing traditional illustration but the second issue is full on digital. Looks pretty cool to me any way. Check the second album for blackboxcomix@myspace/bbbccomix. I hope you get a kick out of them. Al
