I read voraciously, write poetry, short stories and children's stories. I love hanging out with my kids, especially my daughter as she seems to think she's about 10 years older than she is. My son is a young gentleman.
Music
Its horrible to say at my age, but I love the emotion in rap music. It's mostly crap, but a good portion of it is also fun. People need to stop getting caught up in the politics of it. Its music, meant for enjoyment. That said, I like Kelly Clarkson, the Dixie Chicks, Ludacris, Lil John, Reba, Beyonce, Usher. I could go on and on.
Movies
I love a good tear-jerker - hey, I'm female. But horror movies are my favorite. Give me some good blood and guts, a couple of ghosts or blood-thirsty aliens and I'm in heaven. I also love dumb female movies like Legally Blonde and 10 Things I Hate About You. The Green Mile is amazing - I absolutely love Ving Rhames. And True Lies, is an all-time fave.
Television
Don't really watch much, but when I do its either Disney, thanks to my kids, or, if its my choice, CSI (any of them), NCIS, Cold Case Files. You get the idea.
Books
I will read anything I can get my hands on. Sci-fi, horror, romance, erotica...I really dislike biographies.

Who I'd like to meet: Stephen King. He was voted the Greatest Living American author, and I quite agree. I've read him since I was about 10 and am constantly amazed at the depth to which he gives fear and how well he understands it.
