hmm... seriously? my favorite lately was probably Pan's Labyrinth. old favorites include Disney's swiss family robinson, kiss kiss bang bang, la reine margot, ridicule, rushmore, rob roy, lost in translation, the devil's advocate, 12 angry men (an older classic with real genius), the yes men, gross pointe blank, princess mononoke, the big blue, the hobbit, orlando, the mission, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, babette's feast, romeo and juliet (as much for the soundtrack as the film itself), the life aquatic, little miss sunshine, wit, catch me if you can, the empire strikes back...
