hmm, I comment back here maybe? I swear the UI for myspace is non-intuitive most of the time... Anyways, yeah, I don't like the first 1:30 as much anymore either, but I like it initially (others aren't real thrilled about it either), and its hard to get people to listen for that long in the first place. However, its also hard to go fix it, laziness, blahblah, you should come hang out and work on music with me sometime.
OK, here's the deal...I'm not in love with the 1st 1:30 of Static Progression, but once you start hitting your stride it sounds nice. My advice...lose the intro and work from there. You might even add it back in at a much lower volume later in the song. Just a thought.
Personally I like "Johhny is a douche bag!" Tell your friend that doesn't like the lyrics to go fuck himself!
