Music, Writing, Music, Reading, Music, Movies (indie and very little mainstream) and oh did I mention MUSIC... lately into great pics, and in need of shackles to chain myself to my laptop and start writing...
Music
I Dj (alternative/indie/electro/rock) so my music likes and dislikes changes daily. I can't say who I dislike for if I don't listen I have no comment, but keep in mind if I hear a little bit of a song and dismiss it, it does not mean I don't like it. It just means it's not for me. Who is in my C.D. player at the moment?... Neil Diamond and yes I said Neil Diamond he's the shit and every time he's in town no one wants to go with me to see him (LAME) and he's coming to the Hollywood Bowl. The man, the myth, the legend! The Thin White Duke David Bowie who in my eyes is the all time greatest singer song writer ever... (and that's three periods) Since he hit the scene in the late 60's to now he is Rock N Roll personified. The only other person I see coming in as a close second is Jeff Buckley. When we lost him, we lost genius... Sadly with the age of PRO TOOLS no one stands out everything sounds to good...

Movies
INTO THE WILD REALLY PUTS MY LIFE IN PERSPECTIVE. ALL THE LITTLE THINGS I WILL NOT SWEAT ANYMORE. The Last Samurai, Lost in the Wild (the best movie you will never see), The Usual Suspects, The Seven Samurai, Dances with Wolves, Watership Down, Braveheart and Sin City. A cool little mix of talkies, and you can tell that most of the movies deal with honor, which I hold near and dear. Oh! and Kiss Kiss Bang! Bang! great writing style...
Television
Dexter is awsome, but the bestest show ever is Californication, The Universe on the History channel, and any good Docs out there. Mostly History Channel, Discovery, and very little mainstream because it disgusts me. ANTI-HILLS OR ANY OTHER DRAMA SHOW OUT THERE. GET A LIFE PEOPLE AND DON'T LIVE IT THROUGH OTHERS, NOW THAT'S LAME.
WHEN YOU'RE STRESS OUT SOMETIMES IT HELPS TO DANCE THE STRESS AWAY...
Books
Reading Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughter - House - Five at the moment... The Divine Comedy. The John Ciardi translation is the best so far. The Fight Club. Intense book and I have now seen the movie and yes it rocks too. Reading the Lord of the Rings again at the moment, but I'm stuck on page 467. Mr. Paz also rocks the verses in Spanish my native tongue...

MY PARENTS I LOVE THEM AND WOULD GLADLY LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR THEIRS. Mother and Father for coming to this country with nothing (when I say nothing I mean nothing) and making something for themselves and thier family. When you have goals you can make it because when the goals are the well being for you and your family you fight tooth and nail to achieve them!
