My favorite eatery is Cook Out. My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper. My favorite pizza is Papa Johns. I like to read historical and biographical writings on both Christian and non-Christian figures and events. I also love to write short articles that focus on the "deeper life" of Christ; plus I tend to, at times, write scholastic works. For example, I once penned a line-by-line exegesis on the Book of Jude; you can find this, and a few of my other writings at www.innerlifeministries.com. I am also personally facinated by Church & Revival History.
Music
Michael Buble, John Mayer, Nora Jones, Jason Upton, Kim Clement, Jack Johnson, Nickleback, Don Potter, Suzy Wills Yaraei, Stevie Wonder, the Jackson 5, The Eagles, Earth Wind and Fire, America, the Bee Gees, Brian Whalen, Bruce Hornsby, Christopher Cross, Delirious?, Eric Clapton, Gavin DeGraw, Huey Lewis & the News, James Taylor, Jars of Clay, Kenny G, Michael Jackson, Michael W. Smith, all MorningStar worship music, Paul Simon, Phil Collins, Steven Curtis Chapman, the famous Superman instrumental themesong, Take 6, Sting and many others that I simply cannot remember right now. All these and more are in my Zune (8 GB Microsoft MP3 Player).

You May All Prophesy by Steve Thompson. Any book by Stephen Covey. Anything by Rick Joyner (I HIGHLY recommend "The Final Quest," "The Call" and "The Torch & The Sword") or Kelley Varner (This guy is one of the greatest Bible teachers in the world...NO LIE...check him out at www.kelleyvarner.com). I love to read leadership type books by John Maxwell or financial books by Robert Kyosaki. I just got done reading a book called "I Saw the Welsh Revival: An Eyewitness Account of the 1904 Revival in Wales" by David Walters. Miracle Workers, Reformers and The New Mystics by John Crowder. The Supernatural Ways of Royalty by Bill Johnson & Kris Vallotton. Every book by Bill Johnson. The Unknown Lincoln by Dale Carnegie (I like anything by Carnagie). Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Opponent of the Nazi Regime by Michael Van Dyke. Revolutionary Parenting by George Barna (I like anything by George Barna). The Shack by William P. Young. Good to Great by Tim Collins. Marketplace Christianity by Robert Fraser. God @ Work by Rich Marshall. Faith @ Work by John Maxwell.
Heroes
Jesus, my mom (She has sacrificed more than I could ever repay) and my wife Lauren (She's my friend, the mother of our beautiful girls and so much more). ALSO, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, George Washington (1st US President), John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Deitrich Bonhoeffer, Ghandi, Albert Einstein, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Sarah Palin and others of the same vein of character, genius, honor, guts, integrity, patriotism, glory, etc.
Well, it's been one Heaven of a life. Sure, it's not perfect and in many ways there have been times and days, even weeks, months and years, when it's been hellish. But, even so, every day, the scales are tipping more and more toward Heaven. And when I look at the forest for the trees, there is too much to be grateful for, too much to cry tears of joy over, too much to live for - perspective really is everything.
I am very serious about my relationship with Jesus Christ. He is much more than merely my "God" per se even though He is that; He is my friend, my lover, my blood-brother, my Father, my Mother, my counselor, my helper, my comfort, my hope, my life-saver, my sanity, my security, my insurance, my healer, my provider, my everything. Of course, there are parts of me, inside, like rooms in a mansion, that aren't fully committed to my relationship with Him but He is pulling me through. Honestly, in my weakness and foolishness, bountiful as they are, I have one ambition, one goal, one main thrust and passion: To love Him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength; to love Him the way He loves me; to be to Him what He has never failed to be to me; to know Him like He knows me. I refuse to see or know limits in what we can have together. He's the only One Who really loves me like He does and I am willing to spend the rest of my life investing in Him. I've been following Him hard ever since I was four years old and I've never turned back or even slowed down. He IS love and He has always been faithful to me even when most of my "friends" went "their own way." He's been trust-worthy from the start. He's been my ONLY way, my ONLY Truth and my ONLY Life worth living. Again, I haven't been the best friend to Him but thankfully, He still wants to be my friend. Some may not be able to say the same thing but as I always say, "You get out of it what you put into it. No deposit, no return." Some say I am very narrow-minded in my faith and it's true. Jesus is Truth and there is no other. He's never lied to me. He's truly true and really real. His love is superior to everything I've ever known or experienced. And my quest, my great aim in life, is to be His best friend, know His love ("live loved") and give it away, as He helps me.
My wife (Since May 20th 2000) is my 2nd best friend everyday (2nd to my Jesus), through thick and thin, making me a better person, husband, father, and so much more. Our relationship, like life, has been heavenly and hellish and some times it's been too hard to bear. We both have our issues, our weaknesses, our selfishness and so much more that hurts rather than helps. I love her though! Everyday gets sweeter and while we are still in the process of becoming ONE through friction, the good times are getting so sweet that it's getting harder and harder to focus on the bad or not-so-good. She makes me crazy in obvious ways but mostly in ways that are just between her and me. She is the purest person I know - if her heart was a window, it would be spotless (I know her better than anyone). Sure, she's not perfect, but she's better than anyone I know. She's an entrepenuer, homemaker and angel (She doesn't like it when I doat on her like this but it's true). She's the mother of our three gorgeous daughters, Moriah (born 4/7/04), Kathryn (11/23/06) & Olivia (11/23/06; Kathryn and Olivia are fraternal twins). [By the way, we have a 4th child on the way, due July 7th 2009] Lauren's a great mom. If you see our pics, you can see our cute bunch. I am the only boy in a house of girls and I would have it no other way, ever, in any lifetime. I'm the king of my palace, the primary target of every hug and kiss, loved, adored and pampered by the greatest fan-club anyone could ever ask for. My 4 girls are my joy, my life, my pleasure and are becoming so much more as time ticks on. I can't imagine the heaven we'll continue to have, right here, on earth, as we melt together more and more. I'm thrilled about the future. Tears, fits and giggles of joy await.
Oh and by the way I'm a Christian, family-values, Constitution-loving, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage Conservative in the flavor of our god-sent founding fathers and mothers. This is who I am - I can be no other.

However you choose to pass this Christmas, remember the reason why Jesus came. Amidst the ranting and the raging [Psalm 2], Christ still “...heals the brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, and sets at liberty those who are oppressed” [Luke 4:18]. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” [Luke 2:14]
Aren't you really loving being with your family? It is nice to have a job that will let you off a few days to be with the family!! It was good to see you yesterday and I hope you Lauren the girls and baby #4 have a Blessed Christmas! We love you all
