I'm not really an artist. I'm a Producr/Engineer/Mixer in Atlanta. The songs on my player are recordings I produced or mixed. Working in Atlanta, I do a lot of urban music. I've worked with such acts as Ying Yang Twins, Ludacris, David Banner and Bonecrusher. My biggest hit to date has been Ying Yang's "Wait (The Whisper Song)" which I recorded & mixed. ....My true passion will always be live music. There is no substitution for that interaction between musicians in the moment, whatever style of music they are playing. I'm always looking for real bands to work with.....I recently opened my own private studio called Fatback Sound. I've worked in some great studios in Atlanta, and with some great people. I'm writing because I have a new radio show beginning in July on the Brenau University's radio station, 89.1fm WBCX, Gainesville, GA.
the show, New Drive Radio, will play music ONLY from Indie bands. so, I'm hitting up some of my favorite bands and asking for music to load into the data base. If you know any indie rock bands that you think have a great sound, I'd appreciate your passing this info to them :)
Two things: your status must technically be INDIE and the music has to be radio-ready (no swearing).
I'm always looking for bands to interview live on the air, so if you're ever in the Atlanta area, hit me up.
If you'd like to have your music included regularly on the show, I'll need CDs or mp3s - so let me know if you're interested and I'll give you my email or mailing address.
