JZ also used to write, sing, and play guitar and electric violin in a secret band called the BLIMINALS with Jody Golick and Pat Donaldson. They recorded some songs with Roma Baran producing (at the CBC) and did a number of live performances. Joel has also written and performed music for film,theatre and has done some music production as well.
He writes experiments with songs.
