About me:
Check out http://joematzzie.com/listening for recent sound clips. ][ Currently studying Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music. Grew up in Pittsburgh. lived in New York City for 8 yrs. Moving to California this January. I have 4 CDs I've played on which are on iTunes which I'm pretty proud of, and i'm living in Boston now, going to the coolest school on earth, learned more in the past 2 semesters than I've ever thought possible. I miss New York. Miss friends.
hey baby! Big CD release partaayyy on Dec 12th here, so if you're in cheddarland, come sit in!!!! I'm awestruck over this little gem.. never thunk it possible a year ago (enter one of 12 minor-chord Berklee national anthems) Thanks for givin' me those little nudges. :)
Kids growing up fast. the 944's running issue free which is a pleasant change! engineering 2 punky albums & playing guitar for shaky deville. We have 2 shows lined up this week. Overall, things are good.
I'm looking into Reason since I want to get better at "pop" drum programing. What do you suggest?
Nope, no SCRF for me - the official response was, "We're trying to get away from hiring professional acts." Their exact words - nice implication for the acts they did hire, huh?
I AM doing CTRF though - it starts right after Tuxedo, check my page for details.
Hey Joe, How are you doing? I'm back in Boston now. I'm moving to New York in September. I bet you are pretty busy with your finals and FSC and so on, so you should call me whenever you are free before I go to NY. hugs,
Dude! Yes, it's me. How's the most talented musician I've ever had the privilege to play with? You look fantastic sportin' the renaissance look... nice pix!
I think my favorite movie score would probably be HANOVER SQUARE by Bernard Herrmann. Then again, so many wonderful film composers. DAY FOR NIGHT is wonderful.
Also, Watch Revive Da Live on Yahoo videos Revive Da Live/ Music BS to watch Revive Da Live NYC with Robert Glasper and Adam Deitch Project- 4/25 @ BLVD
Hey Joe,
Thanks for the add, great to find you. When are you coming down to the NY area? Are you playing with Erika as well? Drop me a line if you have time. Take care, Michael.
