Joe has been playing drums and percussion for as long as he can remember. Joe’s fervor for music was spawned in grade school where he participated in every music related program available. After graduating high school, Joe felt the only natural choice was to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. At Berklee, Joe’s commitment and approach to his craft intensified. During his 4 years in Boston, he established relationships and performed with some of the best musicians in the world. Keeping with his personal philosophy of creating musicianship through practical, professional skills, he has sustained a successful music career. Since Berklee, Joe has traveled the world playing with different acts honing his skill and enjoying the fruits of his passion, music.
Joe!! how are YOU man??? things are going well out here. If you were looking through my pics, those ones are really old. I was either partying or drinking. I don't do that so much any more. I am on facebook! I'll look u up. So, my dad just works all the time, my brother is going to school to be a personal trainer and I graduate in June with my BS in Nutrition and Food Scienes. I turn in my internship application in February in hopes of getting accepted and becoming a Registered Dietitian. So, that's it for me. Oh, and yes we are expecting another baby (hopefully a boy). Izzy is so big and is so crazy and so smart!!! She will be two on February 7th. I will put up some new pics and stuff. It was good hearing from you. Please tell the fam hi, especially gramps!!!!!
But it was Fats' guitar tone and sound that really blew people's minds. His tone is very fat, his playing powerful and rhythmically, permanently changing between bass lines, fill-ins and solos. His sound is tube amplified, with a mighty reverb. It was this sound that made other guitar players jealous. Stevie Ray Vaughan, who was lucky enough to see the Hollywood Fats Band play 'live', later said that his jaw dropped.
Hey. Thanks for the second comment effort. I am BUSY. started working full time managing a hair salon me and my wife are partners in. Got a cool gospel church gig I do twice a month. it kicks holy ass!!! Still doing The Zoo and playing the loaner kit I got from smith. Eating DW pedals and hihats and cymbals for a living. Fucking expensive. Any pedal advice for me? Keep in mind the beating I give em lately. Wassup whichoo?
