Sounds Like
Last week I was compared to David Gray and Will Ferrell (sp?) in the same night...
I am a singer/songwriter and the associate pastor of worship at Crossroads Covenant Church in Burlington, WA. I spend lots of time at Common Ground Coffee House and have been known to play shows there occasionally on Saturday nights. I don't want to be a rock star. Most of my songs wind up being about the things wrong with the world, often involving the things wrong with me. That's because I believe there is something fundamentally "off" when it comes to human existence. It also (possibly) has something to do with chemical imbalances in my brain. Then again, those imbalances are further proof that something's not right with the world. Anyway, hope you enjoy, and come to my shows when I have them. One reviewer said that I know how to entertain myself. -Joe
I miss you too man. Things are really crazy here. monday the AG church voted to sell camp. and they just want the money. they don't care who buys it. So i may need to find another job. We are going to take a vacation in the next couple months, and youguys are on our list of people to visit. I'll let you know more when I we have firmed up the details. Love ya man.
Hey Joe, I really want to come see you tonight, but unfortunately, I don't think its going to happen. I hope the show goes well, let me know the next time you play!
ok. so i read your bulletin. i understand your frustration. mostly because dobson has caused me frustration for the majority of my young adult life. anyway i also remembered that you had a blog and thought i would check it out. well you haven't written anything for nearly a year. . . so i am just encouraging you to maybe think about doing that again when you have time. you write well my friend. later.
oh, good to hear! rolling babies sounds like fun. :) haha...
i'm really great! still doing PR for Microsoft, writing a little for SPIN, and i was recently trained as an audio engineer, so running soundboards has been fun.
I was bummed I didn't get to say goodbye to you Friday night before I was swept out the door!!! LOL That was a crazy busy night. Anyway, wanted to just stop in and say "HI!!!"
Hey Joe! I saw your dad at church on Saturday - he said he requested me as a friend on here - but I don't see him anywhere.. Any idea if I was hearing things, or am i just blind? My last name is Kemp now if he wants to try again...
so I don't think I can make it up for either upcoming show this month... I'm bummed but I'm counting on getting you guys into something down here. I'll let you know if I discover anything in particular! you be in the Auburn area for thanksgiving?
