Did you get your baggage packed?
Did you get your willy whacked?
Did you end up quite hunchbacked?
Moving all your stuff.

I was busy, I was home,
I was sitting all alone,
Cos I never help folk downsyndromed,
Moving all their stuff.

Joe my dear! We have a preliminary venue and date to throw around. Saturday the 13th June, at The Lowdown in Dundee...which used to be The Yard. I'm going to check it out next week.
Only thing is this will be their first live gig so there is naff all sound (or light) gear other than the DJ stuff i imagine...which gives me more begging to do.

Tshirts, posters and flyers have already been cadged from kindly dundee businessfolk!

All we now need are the music makers and we are well on the way

Hope you aren't studying too hard

I' m grand, enjoying living in my wee flat up in junkiesville!

Well it's (as far as we've got) gonna be called The Ride, and it's actually to raise money so that my friends can do a 7 day cycle covering 550 miles for the National Deaf Children's Society but they need some money to actually get on the road. I've got some bands I'm getting in touch with over the next few days but I only got asked if I'd do this today...you were the little lightbulb in my brain!

the big venue search is going on tomorrow and the preliminary date is 13th of June if we can get something for that date...the cycle will be mid July so it needs to be before then.

Like I say its all very early stages but I'd really appreciate any help and if you were playing I'd be the happiest woman alive. You know I was rocking out at Connect! I couldn't get to your show at Oran Mor was it? Either way I was working. GUTTED!

Early days but I'm on the case now (as opposed to my severely slow male co-organiser) so hope to have more info for you soon.

Hows life in glasgow?...exams do not sound like a whole lot of fun!

ZAP! Teleport yourself to the Art School (located somewhere between a pinprick in the nightsky called Glasgow and its parallel Universe) for a musical trip through the galaxy, past the outer cosmos and into far, far unknown territory. Blackouts and black holes won’t halt the spaceship One More Tune as it brings you its third night at the ever growing monthly party full of future sounds without any of the pretence.

Entry is £5 or less for smart applicants. The shuttle leaves at 11pm and returns at 3am. Spacefuel can be purchased cheaply at the Art School’s bar. I’m descending from outer space to find another face. Enjoy the ride…
