Meeting at Night by Robert Browning The gray sea and the long black land; And the yellow half-moon large and low: And the startled little waves that leap In fiery ringlets from their sleep, As I gain the cove with pushing prow, And quench its speed i’ the slushy sand. Then a mile of warm sea-scented beach; Three fields to cross till a farm appears; A tap at the pane, the quick sharp scratch And blue spurt of a lighted match, And a voice less loud, through joys and fears, Than the two hearts beating each to each!

About me:
I was a twinkle in my fathers eye briefly. Then I worked for a while as a sperm working my way up to a foetus. After 9 months I became disillusioned and left. Then came the lost years; shit, puke, crawling around on all fours;you name it! Got myself together and went to school. Now I'm a stand up comic, actor and writer. With the help of Babies Anonymous, a support group for reformed babies, I have been on the straight and narrow for 40 years apart from the occasional relapse. ..Who I'd like to meet:
My father when he was a teenager and me when i was 8.Details

Bright Star by John Keats Bright star! would I were steadfast as thou art-- Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night, And watching, with eternal lids apart, Like Nature's patient sleepless Eremite, The moving waters at their priestlike task Of pure ablution round earth's human shores, Or gazing on the new soft fallen mask Of snow upon the mountains and the moors-- No--yet still steadfast, still unchangeable, Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast, To feel for ever its soft fall and swell, Awake for ever in a sweet unrest, Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath, And so live ever--or else swoon to death.Heroes
Paul McGrath, Nelson Mandella, Alfred Hitchcock, Donna Summer, Grover, and Dickie Rock.
