For over 40 years Joe’s Barber Shop has been serving the Logan Square Neighborhood with great hair cuts, straight razor shaves and good conversation. Joe’s also provides used bicycle parts, tomato plants, rare 8-tracks, vacuum cleaners and anything else you could think of. Two barbers specializing in vintage style cuts and straight razor shaves are on call to serve you. Joe Caccavella, the shop’s proud owner, has been cutting hair for over 45 years. Joe was born into a family of barbers and is a true master of his trade. A barber with years of experience and a no-nonsense attitude, Joe C will give you a great cut and if you’re lucky, some good gardening tips as well.
Pete Huels took over the second chair in the fall of 2008 and has been a great addition to the shop. Besides being a great barber and an overall nice guy, Pete also is a talented DJ and can he can be found spinning oldies/garage/punk music all over the city under his alias, “The Coffin Banger”.
