I'm a songwriter and musician from Walsall in the heart of the West Midlands, currently hiding out in Cheltenham. . .
So far on my solo musical treck and with the band I have been lucky enough to play with the likes of Frank Turner, The Holloways, Pete Doherty, Fyfe Dangerfield (Guillemots) Johnny Flynn, British Sea Power and Slow Club. I've always sang mostly on my own until recently when I was kindly asked to join a few of my friends to play in their folk band 'Jim Lockey and The Solemn Sun'. Our debut album is out in September through Istartedthefire Records and a tour will follow this release.
I hope you enjoy my solo material and forgive my amateurish production skills. Make sure you check out the band as well!!
Pop along to one of my gigs if you are around Cheltenham :)
I am always looking for gigs around the country so let me know if you know any good venues near you :)
Thanks a lot. . .Also check out Ruth Bewsey, Aspen Sails, and Midnight Mile in my top friends. Cheltenham is a hiding place for several undiscovered geniuses!!
