After my contract ended, I auditioned in Nashville for "Disney World". They were looking for a Country Music singer for their Inaugural Disney Magic Cruise Line. With the thousands that auditioned, I was surprised to be accepted. Around the world, my own Country Music Show on board the "Inaugural Disney's Magic Cruise Line" to Italy and Portugal for the maiden voyage and back. The next year I went back to Nashville after receiving a call from Dolly Parton to be cast in her movie "The Blue Valley Songbird" Movie parts were not exactly new, as previous to that I had been cast for a credited part in Paul Newman's movie. and cast in a CBS World Premiere of Steven King's, "Sometimes They Come Back". While in Nashville I hung out in recording studios, stood in line with hundreds of other songwriters at The Bluebird Cafe, in hopes our songs would be heard by the majors. I wrote my own songs, knocked on doors, recorded three albums with well know Producers Bill Halverston and Dick McVey. Some of my songs are now with a well known publishing company. I performed at the Nashville Palace, The Stockyards, Hall Of Fame, Fan Fair, Ernest Tubb's Record Shop, Tootsie's, and numerous Conventions at Opryland Hotel. All the while working as a ballroom dance instructor for "Nashville Classics Dance Studio" leading me to competitive dancing. Starting early mornings till after midnight. I soon received a call from Branson with an offer to Co-produce & Star in a country music show on a new Branson stage.

Those who have followed us know that our daughter born four years ago December, grew up at The White House Theatre. From her first week she was either in a back dressing room or with a family member in the audience at the show each night by one year old she was on stage with dad and one and a half, she was dancing in the aisles and by two she was belting out a song like mom, and that 2nd Christmas she was singing Happy Birthday to Jesus straight from the stage, soon she had her own nightly spot with "You Are My Sunshine" and this last Christmas 2008, she opened the show with the old santa song "Santa Clause Is Coming To Town" and "Bring Him Home Santa" and a spot in the choir singing Silent Night" The Photo below was taken at the White House Theatre with owner Bob Wehr. Bob Wehr and Talya. Bob has retired from the theatre to move to Springfield and take full care of health problems. Bob mentioned often, he sure hoped he would be around to watch her grow up while (what he believed) she will turn into one of Branson's prodigies. Now sadly this man with a past of many ventures and successes and a man who has been fair and good to so many, he will be missed by many. HE LOVED THE SHOW ... We know God will be watching over him and keep him able to continue to come to our new show while recovering from his health problems

I had my marketing cap on about a week ago and with all the bad news; the Taliban in Pakistan, the looming Chyrsler bankruptcy, the new flu epidemic, etc; I decided to go with a more optimistic theme for this summer in a bumper sticker (old school). I think its working. There are currently a little more than 50 cars in the Branson area sporting this lil’ beauty. (Yes, I comped them) What do you think?
I am doing well. Just landed a job @ Mansion and Oak Ridge Boys Theater in marketing. Not my dream job, but its salary and stable. 2 things I cherish right now!!!! Glad all is well with you!
We are going to have to cancel our trip for April 14th - 19th.
Mark (Greybeard) is home from the hospital and doing a little better after his nasty fall off the ladder.
However, he is going back to the hospital Thursday for another surgery and they tell him no work or driving for at least 2 weeks.
