What a couple of years it’s been for Joe Watlin. Originating from around the Norwich area Joe has been one of the forces helping the planning and preparation of the very successful UniqueMusic and now established night and independant record label Elev8, which he co promotes with Tim aka Daysleepers who put on nights, events and produce some of the most forward thinking music in and around Norwich London and Abroad.

After many gruelling technical sessions, Joe established himself as one of the biggest up and coming DJ’s from the area and was offered sets at such clubs as Ministry Of Sound //LONDON, The Cross//LONDON, Turnmills//LONDON, Honey Club//BRIGHTON, Pacha,LDN//Main Room, Rhythm Factory//LONDON, The Key//LONDON and 54 also he has continued to play locally at Po na na’s, the Mustard Lounge, Xcape and Lava Ignite (Norwich).

Also producing mixes that have had a lot of interest not only locally but across the country. All this and the guy has only been mixing just under 3 years . . . Beware Club land!!!!

Already Joe has played for promoters all over, including Pukka Up, Electek, Spank, Café Mambo, D*tached, Phunky, UniqueMusic and Elev8 and is attracting a lot of interest. While playing and helping to organise such nights with well established Dj’s such as Tom Neville, Chris Lake, Moussa Clarke, Nigel Mihell, Jason Bye (Café Mambo), Herd and Fitz, Tom Novy, Brad 212 Finlay, Jack Barham & John Charles (UM) and Jnr J & Kriss Darang (Just the One).

Now looking to forward his talents further, Joe has been looking into the production side of the industry and been able to release his new track CAR PARK KOJAK on the newly established Elev8 Records.

Now residing in Berkshire, Joe is primed and ready to light up 2009 with his own unique style!

Since moving cross country Joe has now bagged a radio slot on world famous Point Blank FM each and every Monday night. With guest mixes so far including Paul Thomas (Godskitchen/Toolroom), Chris Lake (Rising Music), Sonny Wharton, D.O.N.S (Hed Kandi/Kingdom Kome Kuts), Moussa Clarke (Ovenready).
