Jesus, Paul, the biblical Prophets and martyrs through the centuries that gave their lives for God when required of them,... My Dad, the late John Silvers, My wife, and any Disciples of Christ, especially when it comes time to stand up for Him and they do! We can't be ashamed.
I'm married to the most wonderful, beautiful lady in the world, and dad to three great teenagers. I'm also an Assistive Technology Specialist for the local school system by day, but most importantly, I'm a Christian, on my way to heaven by God's mercy, trying to learn and show as many as I can the way Jesus. I feel like the time we have left on this earth is short and Christians need to take our calling to make disciples seriously. Below are two videos I put together. The first one is made with a few pictures from our youth retreat in Dec. 2007, and the other one is a video using clips from the movie Passion to show how Isaiah 53 was fulfilled in such detail with Jesus' crucifixion. It's a testimony to how God spoke prophetically and soooo accurately to Isaiah, some 700 years before Jesus was born! Hey joey! Yeah well I've honestly always wanted one but I've always struggled with the idea of whether it's really a sin or not. But Tanner told me to stop thinking about it and just get one already...hmmmm....Hope to see you all sometime soon. Life's a 'little bit' easier now that the boys are older. a little.
just to think, God gave his son for a world that doesn't even know. He allowed his son to suffer and die for our sins, when in all reality we live clueless as to the pain he really did go through. God loves this world and his children enough to give his only son, when this world lives in sin and distraught. It aggrivates me to death to know that Jesus suffered THAT much for us. and there are only some that care enough to live for him. The rest live their lives not caring how they live, i don't know weather its that they just don't know or don't care. but they should, they shouldn't take the greatest sacrifice for granted.
This World is so clueless as to what really happened, they forget just how much God loves them. They forget everything Jesus went through and just for them to live. Yet NOONE will open their eyes. this world is completely ASLEEP!
