About J. Breeze(Check out High Society, my new band!)
Slick-talking, arrogant, slightly-better-looking-than-your-boyfriend, charming, ridiculously awesome and all-around better are just a few of the words to describe Ontario's best kept secret and though those are somewhat enviable qualities, none live up to the sound coming out your speakers. Even though the introduction to this bio should be taken as a joke (not really, he actually believes that), the music and flow speak for themselves. Joey Breeze otherwise known as Jose Espinoza brings a new flavor, look and spice to a hip hop that is quickly growing stale and predictable.
Born in a small town in Venezuela on April 19th, 1991, Rhyming is the least likely of abilities that this young MC should have developed. Yet, a turn of a fate and a move to the sunny state of Florida in '98 shaped this young man into the artist he is today. Growing up on Outkast, UGK in his early years and then moving on to the lyrical gymnastics of Jay-Z, Nas and Biggie Smalls, Joey picked up an east coast flow with a southern drawl that complements his hard-to-come-by swagger and switch-up flow.
Now living in London, Ontario, Joey is currently one of the up and coming talents of the forest city's underground scene. Mixing and matching different flows over guitar licks, old school drums, southern bass and many more, his style of music has differentiated from all others. Having released The Contender Mixtape as a free preview to what is to come, Joey has now set his sights on developing "Aerosoul" a mixtape that promises to blow away any doubt that his young age, his background or his stomping grounds have anything to do with whether he can flow or not.
Considered more than extremely well-tailored to the industry, with a swag and charm that are instantly memorable, the Clockwork leader and founder is preparing for his debut.
Paper plane in hand, a pair of old Converse Chucks and a striking purple tie, the boy wonder has now arrived.
