Joey Fender and the 55's have been playing for over a decade now. They have recorded 8 CDs, including his most recent, The soon to be released "Underground".
Never one to shy away from creativity, Joey Fender is knee deep in a film project called "THE RIDE!" due for release in early 2010. If The thrills and action he delivers on stage are any indication, the film should be downright heartpounding.
A few months ago there was rumbling on the blues scene in Texas. Whether Fender will relocate to S.A. remains to be seen, He showcased a style of blues and rock he calls "Rock-ola," a blend that earned Fender and his band reams of press in Alaska, Washington and Oregon, California, Montana, and Texas.
