I like making music, real estate investing, video production, business development, and guitars. Specifically, the multi-neck class of guitars like a Jimmy Page doubleneck, or a Steve Vai trippleneck, a Michael Batio Quadnecker, or a Rick Nielsen 5-necker.
Music
Hard Rock, 80's metal, but no dark stuff. see the blog for more. Occasionally I travel with Paul Gaehring to do worship conferences, coffeehouses, youth conferences, or other worship events. I play bass guitar, lead guitar, and keyboards. Im available to sit in on a short term basis as a guitar player, bass player, and maybe keyboards if its simple. I have a strange little attraction to the Hammond organ and discovered, with some practice, I could possibly back up the preacher.
I've been told I am a good candidate to be the real life character, "Tony Stark" from the IronMan movie. And, I'll admit, there are quite a few surprising similarities.
I don't have many movie favorites, but I'll push this website as one of my absolute faves: www.popurls.com Its a site that scrapes and aggregates a dozen or so news, slash, and media sites for the latest headlines. It will save you a bigtime bunch of surfing.
Television
Theater is life, cinema is art, television is furniture.
(Patty Wentz-Daly)
I dont watch broadcast or network television.
Books
The bigger the book the better.
They'll keep a fire going for hours.
Just kidding. I'm an avid reader of many non-fiction subjects, and sometimes devour a book or two a week.
Heroes
I know this guy who can get you into Heaven... He's the Man.

I'm associate producer and senior editor of Redemption Today. I also do camera shading, closed caption engineering, 3D graphics video compositing, and sometimes direct a 6 camera shoot. I solve hard problems and make the improbable achievable.
I do consulting on the topics of phone and computer networks, network design architecture, and Internet stuff (databases, DNS, and other web technologies).
About me: I'm trying to put into practice the concept that although it's good that I like to tinker and invent and do everything myself, my greater value to everyone else is to invest in others and make articulate demands of the community that result in everyone reaping the benefits of moving forward. Yes, it's hard to do.
Ahh, the wonderful discovery of the Bacon Cheeseburger Biscuit has brought me some more fame. (I think I'm up to 6 minutes and 28 seconds of my allotted 15 minutes.) Alas, it can be found only at Jack In The Box because I don't know of any other quickfood place that serves both breakfast and lunch at the same time. However, you have to buy both a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger AND a plain biscuit, and some assembly is required if you can't convince the chef to do it for you. It's worth it though.
Asking lots of questions is the best way you can talk a lot and look wise at the same time.
I am the guy most likely to break the rules and undervalue your title, but at the same time strive to uphold the responsibility of justice, never violate the essence of the law, and leverage the strength of authority. I love to be an occasional Loose Cannon.
I love to hang out and meet people. I like sharing great food, solving difficult problems in creative ways, working as hard as I play, and making sure everyone laughs a lot and is comfortable.
Im single, debt-free, drug-free, and disease-free. I'm an expert handyman at just about anything, including small engine repair, plumbing, photoshopping, and I'm comfortable with a command prompt in a DOS window. I make some aggressive alligator chili as well as cook vegetarian style. I prefer, however, to eat animals that are vegetarians.
I am a part-time working musician and occasionally travel. I love hairmetal, instrumental rock, and anything musically interesting that requires real talent to perform. I don't wear a watch, I can run a game of billiards with my eyes closed, I love going to the beach, I can carve a turkey, and I can put a 9mm six-shot pattern in a 10-inch group.
I can juggle torches, I dislike being cold, would rather go out on the town than stay home, and I assume moderate to high risk in most investments. I can back up a trailer, name a few astronomical objects, and get a garden to grow. I don't do balloon sculpture, but I can wear a pink shirt and still be masculine.
My pet peeves are things that slide off the seat into the floorboard while driving, and missing movie previews. I love to teach on business and technology topics, and get a thrill from throwing boomerangs in the dark. I prefer a minimalist lifestyle and am slowly changing my tastes from "cutting-edge" to "vintage."
I like to play pinball because it's a game of skill, strategy, and you can actually win the game and get something besides a high score entry. I dabble a bit in integral calculus and enjoy giving real massages.
Contrary to what might appear, I'm not ADHD. I do exhibit some symptoms of mild obsessive/compulsive disorder in that I stack things like green beans or frenchfries, storage boxes, and household items in a neat orderly manner.

Here's an opportunity to experience the joy of giving. Oh, and thank you!
I heard somewhere that if you put a piece of ham in a dvd player, it would play a short video on pigs. I haven't found it yet, but until then, here's a link to my YouTube site where I post my videos.
Two words describe me well: Renaissance Man. But since I dont live in the Renaissance Era, you can call me a Polymath for short. It's hard to explain, but I'm kinda like
these guys.
Or maybe put this way: Add Mcguyver, Eddie Van Halen, Doogie Howser, and Sean Connery in a blender. Chill. Salt to taste, Serves 1.
Although sometimes I like to add Yoda, Captain Kirk or Jim Carrey to spice things up.
My old personal webspace can be found here: Joe Loman at Tripod. Me and a million others found a myspace long before 'myspace' hit it big.
I am still an amateur radio operator, KB0ATG. Love the stuff, but haven't gotten out and done much with it here in Greenville.
Paul Gaehring and the Bulletshells band tour schedule can be found on Paul's Myspace
Who I'd like to meet: Leonardo DaVinci, Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, and Alexander the Great. Paul Graham, James Burke, John C. Maxwell, and Paul Zane Pilzer. Thomas Jefferson.
Your welcome! I am planning a "un" birthday, so I can eat chocolate! Thanks for taking the time to invest in Matthew, I think it will pay off. I have always enjoyed hearing Matthew practice, but now I really do. I think he is learning to play the guitar:)Have a great day! Smiles:)
