Joey Ryan is a young musician from Enniscorthy, Wexford in Ireland.
Previosly working in other musical outfits such as South-east metal band, Cronus, Joey started his persuing his love for acoustic music from a more roots based background.
His first album. 'Hope in razorbeams' was released in 2008 and did well locally.
It was Joey's first collection of music he had written on his acoustic guitar and reflected his favourite artists at the time.
After selling out all printed copies of HIR, playing gigs on local circuits and shows around Ireland a new sound was emerging that sounded original and exciting
Joined by a backing band, a more tangled sound of rock/roots and blues was emerging.

The new album, 'Fracture' is a step forward for Joey and showcases what he thinks are his best songs to date.
The album also has a backing band playing too, giving the songs more energy and a different feeling.
It has been recieving airplay nationally throughout Ireland and small radio play in the UK.
It has doulbled the sales of the previous album, 'Hope in Razorbeams', and is recieving great feedback and support.

Its been a while and we thought it was about time we updated you on what we've been up to. Our debut EP Little World is now available at our gigs and will soon be available from our myspace and facebook pages, you will also be able to download it from itunes, but we don't have a release date for this as yet.

We have spent the last year rehearsing with a full band and are now ready to bring it on the road. You can get a look at us when we appear on Balcony TV this week with the full line up.
