Aaah Hollywood, what a town it must have been, checking out the folk venues, hanging at the Troubador, wandering in to see the Flying Burrito Brothers at the Palomino and the Brass Ring, seeing Chuck, Ed and Gary with Taj Mahal at the Ash Grove, longhairs in cowboy hats.. checking out Delaney & Bonnie playing the clubs and bowling alley joints in the Valley, slipping into Gary Paxton's home studio, rocking out at the Whiskey.. and there you were making magic in the studios.. what a time!
