At the tender age of four, JOEY ANDERSON knew what he wanted to do with his life. His legacy, to leave behind a journey of song. His life's span told in melody.
Being from a somewhat musical back ground, JOEY ANDERSON was born into Art and Music. In the early 70's, his Father was into the Arts and used to play drums at home for a hobby.
His Father seems to think that he had plenty to do with Joey's desire to want to become a musician. Joey would agree that all those hours of his Dad babysitting him in front of the drums, probably "banged" the idea of wanting to play right into him.
"I didn't know any better", says Joey. "To me, this
is what I thought Fathers and Sons did together. Most Dads are trying to teach their Son how to catch or throw that touch down pass. My Dad was busy trying to show me that it's all in the wrists". During that time period, Joey was also exposed to Rock And Roll on his Dads' radio. 'Bang A Gong' is the first official rock song that Joey believes his ears had the pleasure of hearing.
Then his Dad brought home KISS 'ALIVE'. (This is where the trouble really started!) The album was purchased because of the song 'Rock 'N Roll All Nite'. After absorbing all of that Rock and Roll in like a sponge, Joey had the need to play music and nothing else has ever taken its' place. Since then, Joey has learned how to play and master other musical instruments including Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, and has become a Vocalist which many find hard to match.
Throughout the past two decades, JOEY ANDERSON has been honing his skills and is always trying to improve upon his talents as an all around Musician, as well as an accomplished Engineer and Producer.
