The driving force of my personality is to understand the world and to communicate that understanding to others. Accordingly, I'm interested in just about anything and everything in the sciences and humanities. Most of my friends think of me as a musician and songwriter, or perhaps a Hebraist. Writing non-fiction and fiction, however, is my first love, and astronomy is my favorite subject.

Classical, folk harp, Celtic and other ethnic, smooth jazz, some New Age, some mainstream Christian and Messianic Jewish, and a diverse palette of popular and world artists. John Denver, Elton John, and Enya are among my major influences as a songwriter. My academic specialty is the melodic rendition of Hebrew Scripture as deciphered by the late Suzanne Haik-Vantoura ("The Music of the Bible Revealed", book, recordings and Website). Movies
Science fiction, fantasy, biblical fiction, historial fiction, documentaries, traditional and computer generated animation...and oh yes, I've never met a submarine movie I didn't like.
Television
M*A*S*H, Star Trek and Babylon 5...who has time to watch anything else? Except for the guilty pleasure of some things on Cartoon Network and the Disney Channel, of course.
Books
The Bible in its original languages (and also Franz Delitzsch's Hebrew New Testament) tops the list, which is too extensive to draw out here.
Heroes
I'm pretty independent-minded, but this side of God I would have to say the late Herbert W. Armstrong and those who have continued to follow him to the extent he followed Jesus Christ.
