The first contact of these two nordish guys was in the year 2000. They met each other on one of their first parties and after hanging around together for some time, they decided to start a collaboration as DJs, partyorganizers and room-mates. In the early years of being on the decs, they were real minimal-freaks. Sounds from XV-Killist, Intact Instinct, Noma, Shiva Chandra, Haldolium etc. dominated the first places in their Top 10. But the taste switched completely. Now it`s „Morning-Power-Full-On“, they`re flashing of. The career as party-organizers started in 2001. They organized gatherings of maybe 50-100 people, next to the beach or in the forrest. For sure an important experience, but they wanted more!!
After some time of searching, the Kieler party location called „die Pumpe“ was rent the first time and the parties „Neumondakustik“ became a base for local DJs and around 300-400 party guests. After 9 editions it was time for a new surrounding. Locations like „Walterwerke“, „Alte Meierei“, „Orange Club“ and „TraumGmbH“ were spots till now and the parties „Terra Nova“, „Optical Irritation“, „Deep Blue Sea“ and „Violent Reaction“ became famous parties in the Northern part of Germany. Highlights are the collaboration between „Optical Irritation“ and „Amarasya“, which are the two guys from Tshitraka (Symphonix/True Lies) and for sure the „Deep Blue Sea“ party with more than 600 guests and an international line-up.
Johan & Manès are still room-mates and with a lot of bookings in the past and in the future (Germany, Denmark, Austria, Israel, Slovakia, Sweden, UK), their Psy-career seems not to find an end now. The personal plans are to finish their educations, to stay healthy, to continue DJing, organize parties and to build up a booking agency to support their local Producers & DJs.
