A native of Manhattan, New York, and born to Dominican parents,
Johanna Gomez began her career in entertainment at the age of nine,
while dancing for large audiences at the Jean Martin School of Dance
in New York City. It is then, when Johanna realized that she enjoyed
putting smiles on the faces of people.
Johanna is currently a reporter for WPLG channel 10, she is hosting MD CONNECTED for CABLETAP TV,
Miami-Dade's Public Access TV Channel, and she is the in arena host for the Florida Marlins.
Johanna worked for the MUN2 Network for two years and co-hosted the
entertainment & news show, FUZION. She also served as host for the
nightly interactive news program, THE REPORT and worked as an on-air
talent for other network TV shows, including Chat.
