Johanna Hemara’s singing career started at the same time as she was learning to walk. Her powerful voice enables her to perform songs which would see others struggling to reach notes that come easy to her .
During her career so far she has performed on many television shows including Starsearch ,New Faces,Good Morning Australia and the Midday Show to name a few.
Some of her career highlights include winning the Barry Thornton Encouragement Award at Tamworth, A top twenty finalist in the Toyota Starmaker and a nomination for the Johnny O’Keefe Best New Talent Award at the Mo Awards.
her career so far is now starting to reward her with the acclaim she rightfully deserves.Johanna has been working tirelessly of late performing on shows with Adam Harvey ,The McClymonts,Troy Cassar-Daley,Travis Collins,Sara Storer and more recently The Noll Brothers .
Starting Over is the first single and title track from JOHANNA HEMARA's forthcoming album, which is set to be released in December 09. Produced by HERM KOVAC, this album features the best musicians in the industry from Australia and Nashville.
The album shows off Johanna's huge vocal range and features songs written by Johanna and also contributions from some of Nashville's best songwriters. With a mix of up tempo country rock songs to heartfelt big ballads, it showcases just how versatile and vocally talented Johanna is.
Starting Over is a catchy country rock tune, all about leaving behind the wrong choices you may have made in the past and starting over again. It's a theme many people can relate to, and watch out for the clip going to air shortly on CMC.
