About Johannes Hopfner

ENG/ Of a breath-taking intensity, the alternate folk of Johannes Hopfner pushes us head-first at the heart of his unique universe.
This multi-instrumentalist songwriter draws from a pure and powerful energy to bring us effective melodies, supported by a subtle and moderated play, and just the right amount of spleen and sincerity to touch us closest to our emotions.

In 2004 Johannes self-produced his first album, whose promising success on the Internet marked the beginning of an uninterrupted series of concerts.

In 2009, he put together the titles most played on stage in the opus “One song one take”. Recorded completely in direct catches, the album preserves the original intensity of the tracks.
The guest participation of Patrick Manouguian and the collaboration of Sly Wysiwyg on the entire album tint it with a resolutely modern and innovative nuance.

Winner of the MMFF FNAC Indétendances 2009 contest, the title of better self-produced artist 2009 allows him to be featured in the compilation FNAC Indétendances n° 38 with "Ashes turn to gold". His new album is from now on available in all of the FNAC networks.

FR/ D’une intensité saisissante, la folk alternative de Johannes Hopfner nous plonge au cœur d’un univers unique.
Ce songwritter multi-instrumentiste puise dans une énergie pure et puissante des mélodies efficaces soutenues par un jeu subtil et nuancé, avec ce qu’il faut de spleen et de sincérité pour nous toucher au plus près de nos émotions.

En 2004 Johannes autoproduit son premier album, dont le succès prometteur sur Internet marque l’origine d’une série de concerts ininterrompue depuis lors.

En 2009 il réunit dans l’opus « One song one take » ses titres les plus joués sur scène. Enregistré intégralement en prises directes, l’intensité originelle des morceaux y est préservée.
La participation en guest de Patrick Manouguian et la collaboration de Sly Wysiwyg sur l’ensemble de l’album teintent celui-ci d’une nuance résolument actuelle et novatrice.

Vainqueur du concours MMFF FNAC Indétendances 2009, le titre de meilleur artiste autoproduit 2009 lui permet de figurer sur la compil fnac indétendances n° 38 avec "Ashes turn to gold", et son nouvel album est désormais disponible dans tous les réseaux fnac.
