Of a breath-taking intensity, the alternate folk of Johannes Hopfner pushes us head-first at the heart of his unique universe.
This French Danish songwriter draws from a pure and powerful energy to bring us effective melodies, supported by a subtle and moderated play, and just the right amount of spleen and sincerity to touch us closest to our emotions.
In 2004 Johannes self-produced his first album, whose promising success on the Internet marked the beginning of an uninterrupted series of concerts.
In 2009, he put together the titles most played on stage in the opus “One song one take”. Recorded completely in direct catches, the album preserves the original intensity of the tracks.
Winner of the MMFF FNAC Indétendances 2009 contest, the title of better self-produced artist 2009 allows him to be featured in the compilation FNAC Indétendances n° 38 with "Ashes turn to gold". His new album is from now on available in all of the FNAC networks.
