howdy, my name is John Ziegler, i usually just go by john Z and you can find me as "johnZguitar" on the net...
i pay the bills as a musician(don't try this at home kids) living and trying to breath in los angeles, california, u.s.a., earth. besides actually playing music, i work with recording production and other artistic endeavors.
i bang on the geetar in a plethora of oldschool/new-drool rock/jazz/blues groups VOLTO!, Amalgatron, Lyfe Pardners, The Zetetics, and even more, whenever there's good folks ready to make some noize... which usually attempts to get fired up montly amongst the hills and valleys of lovely southern california.
and as of late(actually, for almost 4 years now), i've been hosting my jamz group every monday night for a killer improv jam at the infamous LA jazz club, THE BAKED POTATO...good stuff!
i also hold down guitar duties in a band called PIGMY LOVE CIRCUS, based out of downtown h-wood.
and here in burbank at Z casa, i teach a few private guitar lessons every once in a while too!
i'm always up for having a great time! for fun, i collect vinyl lp records, hang out with my pups, drive the bar-b-q train, support friends at their gigs....dj from time to time at stripclubs throughout the la area for extra $cratch(in a recent past-life)....and throw down the party hat here and there!
over the years...the lost art of "communication" has become a very important entity in my life. therefore i have many fantastic acquaintances.....although, very few close friends! i am, however, always open to welcoming more good people into my life!
