My backgrounds punk/ska/dub, but I like loads more stuff than that, Everything has it's cool moment, except dull techno...weird stuff, and drum n bass are cool, though. I miss the free festival scene of the early nineties, and long to visit another festival where the sounds of gong and hawkwind are drifting across a free field of freaks...actually, time to update that, cos thanks to Hawkfest that one's taken care of again...EVERYTHING! FRANK ZAPPA IS STILL GOD

About me: well, the headline says it all...I'm artistically quadrophrenic, which makes for a full and fulfilling existence.I am now an animator pretty much 15 hours of every day, and am nearing the end of a HUGE project...more of that later...I am fully into Stop-motion puppet animation, and also 3D CGI animation, primarily using Lightwave 9.5
I was the singer in a band called AOS3 from 1990-95, then the singer in a band called P.A.I.N. from 1995-2001, when I quit to concentrate upon my Son, Oska. Along the way I have also been in the bands L.D.D. and LESS, and most recently Broken Heart Orchestra with Dicky Hammond and 3 Bavarian guys. Since then I've been trading in 3D computer animation, making several short films and animations, and even teaching animation. If you browse onto my videos you'll find my 5 minute short animation, "Penterghast" available. I hope you enjoy it.It's a short horror animation about a deformed teacher.
More animations are on Youtube channel, i will provide a link for ease of use.
I have taken forever to get any kind of web presence for AOS3, so maybe there'll be a few old folk who are interested, who knows.
I'm also a keen skateboarder, spent a lot of time in recent years at parks like Meanwhile, Playstation, and bowls all over the place.
Animation has now fully taken over for me since i first created this profile, and if you visit my youtube channel you'll find a wide range of stuff posted...plus images from a forthcoming piece. For the past 2 years I have been working INCREDIBLY hard on a 22 minute animated adaption of 'The Happy Prince'by Oscar Wilde...
featuring a great cast of professional acting talent,i'll be posting images on a dedicated website shortly...It's a 'hybrid' animation in that it uses CGI, stop-motion and Line animation to tell various parts of the story...It would be fair to say Suzie Templeton has been a massive influence on this work. More will follow about this project.
AOS3 are going strong again now, working on new songs and a forthcoming european tour.
Maybe I'll make/rediscover a few old friends along the way, if so, shout me out and make me yer friend.
Who I'd like to meet: old friends, new friends, skaters, politicised folk on an enviro tip.
Other animators and filmmakers...folk who want to skip from JohnO'groats to Landsend...seriously!

In Irish mythology, the beginning of the summer season for the Tuatha Dé Danann and the Milesians started at Bealtaine. Great bonfires would mark a time of purification and transition, heralding in the season in the hope of a good harvest later in the year, and were accompanied with ritual acts to protect the people from any harm by Otherworldly spirits, such as the Aos Sí. Like the festival of Samhain, opposite Beltane on October 31 Beltane was also a time when the Otherworld was seen as particularly close at hand. Have a wicked time!....all de best (please check out http://www.myspace.com/freepeltier cheers!!)
