| General | Acting, comedy, current affairs, history, religion (the study of it, not really practicing it. I believe in something, but I just think the social impact of it is much more intersting than doctrine or dogma of any faith). AND I STILL am a science geek. I still pick up science magazines and watch the Science Channel | | Music | Beatles, Sam Cooke,Mark Knoppfler, They Might Be Giants, The Stones, XTC, U2, Barenaked Ladies, Midnight Oil, Neil Finn, Aimee Mann, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Carol King, Paul Simon, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Mozart, Prince, Bob Dylan | | Movies | I have not seen "No Country for Old Men" but from what I hear, I think I'm gonna like it. | | Television | 30 Rock, Myth Busters, Torchwood, BSG, Doctor Who | | Books | I am now reading "It Can't Happen Here" by Sinclair Lewis- eerily prescient when you conider what is happening today. I am also reading the other famous MN author, Fitzgerald's "This Side of Paradise." I just finished reading "Assasination Vacation" by Sarah Vowell and Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential".
