About me:

Who am I? I am no different than everyone, and unlike anyone. I'm an optimist, and maintain positivity in all aspects of life. I'm a man of ethics and morality, and I strive to always be close to God. I live in the here and now, but I stand facing forward. I write poetry, I enjoy the arts, but I also love science, facts, fiction, facts proven to be fiction, and fiction not yet accepted as facts. I like good times, people who can make me laugh and vice versa.

Interests

  • General

    I am interested in changing this world for the better, be it on a grand scale, or on a one to one level. Along with personal evolution of self. There is huge room for improvement in society and humanity; My main interest is hoping to see changes before I am gone. Now for less serious interests... I enjoy movies, swimming, dancing, laughing, chillin, meditating, adventures, travel, cooking, helping, living, and..well this list could be infinite.

  • Music

    Music, music...well I love music, period. I'm open minded to good music, heck even bad music if you can dance to it. Show me a song and I will listen. I usually jam to the likes of The Doors, Dylan, Floyd, Hendrix, Petty, Young, Gorrillaz, Matisyahu, Dead Prez, Mos Def, and everything in between.

  • Movies

    Mother, Jugs, and Speed (1975), Office Space, Joe Dirt (don't ask, lol) and hmm Grease; bah so many, too many to name here. I am into independent films like Pi, City of God, Tsotsi, Carandiru, etc.

  • Television

    Family guy, no doubt. Daily Show, The Simpsons, Futurama, Scare Tactics and...hmm, I actually don't watch a whole lot of tv. I guess w/e is on.

  • Books

    The Celestine Prophecy (Definitely recommend it), The Tenth Insight, The Secret of Shambhala, Neverwhere, Angels and Demons, Intensity, The Da Vinci Code, The Bible, and anything that I will learn something from, or be absorbed by the story.
