Bob Dylan, John Prine, Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Tim Easton and any songwriter that writes because it matters...
Sounds Like
The rubber hitting the road...that long road that takes us away but then leads us back again. The sound of generations communicating through the wood and the wires.
John Schnabel (father), guitar strummer and poetic muse.
Micah Schnabel (son), sometimes guitars, sometimes percussion.
My friends The Hobos: Ardean - Mandolin, Owedus - banjo; Alwood "Big Woody" guitars and almost 30 years of friendship; Weapon - percussion; and Curtis "wee willie" Henderson on harmonicas.

Greetings fellow bands and musicians! a year ago i put together a compilation called Songs That Made An Impact 2009, it was released as a free download last February and www.unuradio.com has been promoting it ever since with all the songs in rotation, 2 months later www.thecreativeplanet.com featured it on their site for the entire month of April. i have personally sent out free physical copies of the cds to people that buy items from me off ebay, i have sent out over 100 copies that way thus far. if you have not downloaded the cd yet, please check it out at: http://www.mediafire.com/?tqgynzh25un

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
