| About John T. Ashley |
|
John Ashley’s music is centered on his words. The acoustic guitar is a support for the lyrics. His songs often bring about laughter while still being sad. Recently, John has made efforts to write more positive songs though. In 2002, John released Through the Twists and Turns which includes songs still found in his repertoire. He currently is working on recording new songs, which has been an ongoing process for way too long now. The songs are written and recording is underway. Hopefully there will be a more creative title for this album than there was for the first. John lives in Charlottesville, VA. He can usually be found playing at The Gravity Lounge. When the recording is finished soon, John hopes to concentrate on playing more shows.
