He was born in Athens in 1964.
He started playing music at the age of eighteen.
He studied keyboards, harmony and superior theory to Apolonio Conservatory.
He was a member of the rock band “Finding The Name” (1984-1989).
After the dissolution of the band he studied jazz harmony for a year.
Since 1991 he lives in the beautiful island of Paros, where he works as a professional musician.
He composes sonatas for piano and music for theatre.
Although his music passion is jazz and classical music, he likes experimenting and marrying other kinds of music such as Rock Latin Folk New Age etc..
The last years he composes soundtracks and music for documentaries.
Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1964. Ξεκίνησε να παίζει μουσική στα δεκαοκτώ του. Σπούδασε keyboards, αρμονία και ανώτερα θεωρητικά στο ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝΙΟ ΩΔΕΙΟ. Ήταν μέλος του Rock Group “Finding The Name” (1984 – 1989). Μετά την διάλυση του group μελέτησε jazz harmony περίπου για ένα χρόνο. Από το 1991 ζει στο όμορφο νησί της Πάρου, όπου εργάζεται σαν επαγγελματίας μουσικός και καθηγητής μουσικής. Γράφει σονάτες για πιάνο και μουσική για θεατρικές παραστάσεις. Παρόλο που τα μουσικά του πάθη είναι η jazz και η κλασσική μουσική, του αρέσει να πειραματίζεται και να παντρεύει και άλλα είδη όπως: Rock, Latin, Folk, New Age κλπ. Τα τελευταία χρόνια γράφει Soundtrack και μουσική για documentaries.
I have been to Greece three times, Crete when I was 6 years old, Corfu when I was 12 and Pefkochori when I was 14. I grew up in Sweden and my dad really loved Greece and Greek ancient history. In stead of bed time stories he told the Greek classics. : ) My parents also visited Athens before I was old enough to come along.
You have a really nice face, and I liked the cat by the piano. I really enjoy your music. I let it play in the background as I was doing other things on the computer.
