An emerging and unique voice in the global underground club music scene, Barera has been spreading his gospel far and wide. Heavily Influenced by vintage Chicago House and Detroit Techno and its reinterpretations in Europe, his dj sets, productions and remixes are characterized by a certain gritty soulfulness and ears kept open to just about anything. With recent tracks on asteroid-m project, remixes for brenden welsey and dj fred mertz and 1dad, he is proving his own tunes to be well worth seeking. Barera has supported artists such as ali shaheed muhammad (a tribe called quest), the very best (radioclit), diplo (mad decent), runaway (rekids / dfa), voodeaux (dirtybird / mothership), uproot andy (zizek / bersas discos), chris devlin (fully fitted), dj c (soul jazz / mashit), toro y moi (carpark), small black (cass club) and javelin (luka bop).
