In 1979 John joined Squeeze just two weeks before their single 'Cool For Cats' shot into the top 10 - closely followed by the equally successful 'Up The Junction'
Since then John has played on many hit records including Tempted, Pulling Mussels (From A Shell), Another Nail In My Heart, and Labelled With Love.
As a session musician John has worked in the studio with many well known people including Elvis Costello, Dave Edmonds, Nick Lowe and Big Jim Sullivan. During his career, John has had the privilege of playing along side many talented and famous artists including Sting, Paul Young & Garth Brooks.
Countless appearances on radio & TV shows include: The Chart Show, MTV, Top of the Pops (1&2) and Crimewatch UK!!
