Four piece roots/rock outfit from Toronto, Ontario playing the songs of John Borra. All four members trace thier musical roots back to the Toronto punk rock/underground scene of the late 70's early 80's. They've released three records since 1997.
Cleave Anderson (Drums) started playing behind strippers on Yonge St. in the early 70's, played with punk rock group The Battered Wives in the late 70's, founding member of Blue Rodeo in the early 80's and has since played with many Toronto bands. Played with the John Borra Band since 1997.
Steve Koch (Lead Guitar, B/U Vocals) played with punk pioneers the Viletones in the late 70's, The Demics in the early 80's, roots pioneer Hansome Ned and many other Totonto bands since. Has been with the John Borra Band since 1997.
Derrick Bradey (Bass, B/U Vocals) won a scholarship to a school of music as a young boy, played with many underground bands throughout the 80's, joined roots/rockabilly outfit Dodge Fiasco in the 90's, toured North America and Europe with internationally loved Hawksley Workman for the past five years and has played on numerous albums by various artists. Joined the John Borra Band in 2005.
John Borra (Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar) was a founding member and bass player of critically acclaimed A Neon Rome in the early 80's, played bass with Groovy Religion, Change Of Heart, Ron Sexsmith and many other Toronto bands. Started John Borra Band in 1997.
