With all great stories in music, success is a result of hard struggles, endless hustle and determination to succeed no matter what the odds are. John Buchanan ("JB") is no exception to this rule. Through all the trials and tribulations within the music business, he has remained strong and endured without giving up on his dream- and now it's time for John Buchanan to makes his debut.
His focus is simple: hot beats, killer hooks and his own flavor. In a time where the music world is experiencing a return to singer/songwriter/producers who define and create their own sound, John writes, produces and sings every vocal on every song he does. He has performed at hot spots such as the Cheetah Club and Wetlands Ballroom in NYC along with a television appearance and The Ananda Lewis Show (of MTV fame).
Growing up in a house full of musicians, singers, dancers...John had a thirst for music and performance from day one. As a young teenager, on a dare, John went into the recording booth at Six Flags to record a song with a friend. Who knew that day would begin an unexpected addiction to being in the studio and laying down tracks. From that experience grew a studio made out of 2 tape recorders, a Roland keyboard, and an old microphone in his basement... then later to an 8 track...and eventually a full digital workspace where John records all his own material in present time.
In a time where such a large number of recording artists are available at your fingertips, a rare few stand out and stick with you. John Buchanan is genuine, full of soul and ready to make his mark; his music tugs at the heartstrings and won't let you stay in your seat.
