John DePatie has been a guitarist for more than 20 years. As a member of Nancy Sinatra’s band he has performed on recordings, television shows and concert stages across the world. He also performs in the Los Angeles area with his own band, as well as with other artists and for the last four years has performed more than 200 times per year.
He is heavily featured on Will Faeber’s 2005 release Travel By Stars which includes some of San Diego’s top session musicians including guitarist/producer Peter Sprague. Thomas R. Erdmann from jazzreview.com wrote, "John DePatie’s guitar work is exquisite. His perfect solos and background work on Travel By Stars, Play On, and Little T-Bird Ragtop show his ability to perfectly capture an emotion and run with it."
Debbie Hennessey’s recently released (July 2006) CD, Good As Gone not only features DePatie’s electric, acoustic, 12 string and dobro work, but also two compositions he cowrote with Hennessey and Sunny Hilden.
