Fatty Boom Basstic- an all original funk meets pop project with amazing vocalist Laura James.
Dudlow Joe- 5 piece rhythm and blues (the original R&B)- featuring Danny Vincent on the boogie woogie piano.
Berry Goddard Band- Jazz and funk instrumental quartet. I write some of the music for this lot, but otherwise it's a mix of jazz standards, funky grooves and Latin beats.
Wefunk- as the name suggests a funk band covering the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Jamiriquoi etc.
Groovetrain- cheesy as you like covers band- you know you love it!
Vocal works gospel choir- fantastic set of singers kept in line by Tim King.
Influences
I started out by learning the chords to Yellow Submarine, and then moved on to lots of other Beatles songs. This led me on to other people from the sixties like the Rolling stones, The Who + Jimi Hendrix.
A couple of albums I learned to play include Appetite for Destruction by GnR, Layla by Derek and the Dominoes and Blood sugar sex magic by the Chili Peppers. Other guitarists include Nuno Bettencourt, Zakk Wylde + Tom Morello.
In the past few years I've been getting a bit more into jazz and checking out players like Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall + Kenny Burrell.
Some of my earliest influences include Spiderman, Mr Strong, Lego and Coco pops.
I live in Bath in the West Country which is in the UK, near France. I have played guitar for over 15 years and have taught for nearly 5 years. I play in lots of bands in and around Bath and am available to play for all live occasions in various funk, jazz and blues bands.
If you need some tips for playing guitar check out my Blogspot lessons page.
I support Charlton FC, who recently qualified to get into Division 1 league. Only a handful of teams manage that each year. Still, it's only a game and not really that important.
Other things I like include curry, going to the pub, having a laugh, kebabs (Chili sauce + salad my friend?), the feeling you get after exercise, making love, going for a long walk all day and then eating a BIG dinner, + playing the harmonica.
I'm also addicted to guitar magazines- or comics. If I'm not at home playing with guitar pedals, I'll be reading guitar comics in the Newsagents.

Seeing Loads of FBB posters around town! Glad to see you guys are doing well. As for Remi Nicole - we share far too many letters in our names...might need a stage name...any suggestions? take care. x
Hey John. We've booked a B&B in Bath for Friday and Saturday. It's on the London Road, maybe we're staying at 5 Comfortable Place?! We're probably going to get into Bath late on Friday. What are your plans for Saturday? We were thinking we might do the whole tourist thing on the Saturday during the day.
Thanks for the message. I'm really looking forward to wednesday.... I'll defintately be down to see FBB and Inzani P, in fact I expect it to be the highlight of the week!
