His new album The Underground Sessions is now available. A highly acclaimed and virtuosic collection of the most outstanding music you will ever hear. Recorded in Rosevale Mine in Zennor, the album oozes history, poignancy and skill from a master of the banjo. Testimonials. "John Dowling is the most remarkable banjo player I've heard in ages" Billy Connolly "John Dowling's banjo playing reminds us of the breadth of expression this sometimes maligned instrument is capable of. In his hands the dignity to this instrument is restored. John is not just a great banjo player but a master musician" Ralph McTell
