We are very happy to announce our appearance at the
40th Annual Burghausen Jazz Festival in Germany
March 21st 2009 at 2pm was a great success!
We opened up the traditional Saturday blues session, and played to a very appreciative, & enthusiatic sold out audience! Just listen to the tracks!
Right off the plane before checcking into the hotel, Johanas our wonderful driver took us to see the Burghausen Castle; (l-r) Frank, John Earl, Tommy, Slinky,& Pete
What made it even more special is that it was the 40th annual B-JAZZ Festival!
After the concert backstage Andreas the stage manager presented us with a sweet present!
All in all it was one of the best gigs of our lives! Thanks you Andreas, Herbert & Susanne!
One of John Earl's happiest days was when he and Plum Nelly band-mate Steve Ress were asked to film a pilot playing guitar with BB King for channel 9 KHJ at the Guitar Center in Hollywood, CA.

John Earl Walker Biography by Al Campbell All Music Guide
Guitarist, lyricist, and vocalist John Earl Walker became enamored with the blues at age 13, after being exposed to records by legendary guitarists of the genre such as Albert King, Magic Sam, T-Bone Walker, and Freddie King. By his 16th birthday, Walker had already begun playing guitar at local events and in clubs whenever possible. In 1967 he formed the blues-rock band the Plastic People, which included bassist Pete Harris and guitarist Joey Tremelo. Three years later Plastic People changed their name to Creedmore State, then to Plum Nelly when they signed with Capitol Records in 70 and recorded one album for them in '71, they gained national exposure opening shows for B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Alice Cooper, and Iggy Pop, to name just a few. The Plum Nelly lp is now a very rare and sought after collectors item! Following the breakup of Plum Nelly in 1976, Walker formed the first of several incarnations of the John Earl Walker Band. Walker then released his debut CD, I'm Leavin' You, in 2002, followed by Little Miss Perfect and People Are Talkin' two years later. All three discs are available on the New York-based Walkright Records label. John toured Australia in 2006, playing with many of the top players down under. John Earl Walker, and Peter Harris were both original members of Capitol Records recording artists Plum Nelly.
Now his greatest album "Come Over Here!" is here, dont miss it thats all I can say!
