Recently joined the Brooklyn Big Big Band, a relatively new and developing ensemble, as "utility" trumpet. Look to hear more about this community-based group in the months to come.
Also do occasional studio work; demo recordings; local theater productions; perform in a variety of brass groups and as solo trumpet/piccolo trumpet for weddings, church services, and special events.
Volunteer in the pit orchestra for Wastebasket Revue (Click Here), an annual variety show staged by 300+ employees, spouses, and community members of Independent School District 279.  Raises money for post-secondary scholarships for graduating seniors of Maple Grove, Osseo, and Park Center Senior Highs.  Seventeen scholarships of $2,000 were awarded this year.  More than $800,000 has been raised for 659 scholarships since 1967.

History
Former Lead Trumpet with Temporary Heroes Orchestra (Click Here), currently disbanded.  THO was a 15-piece dance band that never took a break.  Composed of five lead singers, a 6-piece horn section, and a full rhythm section, the Heroes' high-energy entertainment dazzled guests and kept them dancing for three solid hours.  THO specialized in performing for corporate events and large private parties across the United States and Canada, including venues in:  Hollywood, CA - Jackson Hole, WY - Lake Tahoe, NV - Las Vegas, NV - Long Island, NY - Montréal, Quebec - Palm Springs, CA - Tucson, AZ - White Sulfur Springs, WV - and more, as well as throughout the Midwest and Minneapolis & St. Paul.  Voted "Entertainers of the Year" in 2004 and "Best Entertainment" of 2006 by Minnesota Meetings & Events Magazine.
Playing since 1976, have performed with:  The Temptations + The Four Tops + Anson Williams + Kurt Elling + Nils Lindberg + Connie Evingson + the GOOD, the BAD, and the FUNKY + Roger Johnson and The Arrow Flynns + Standing Waves + The Agapé Jazz Quintet + Easy Street + Brass Tracks + Rod Smith Big Band + Northern Lights Big Band + Caravan + Many of the best musicians and singers in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Performed U.S. Premier of "Requiem," a jazz requiem for 50-voice chorus, soloists, and jazz orchestra by Swedish jazz pianist and composer Nils Lindberg.  Also toured Sweden performing in and around Jönköping, including a special invitation to The Lake Vättern Jazz Festival in Askersund.
Legitimate playing includes:  The Heartland Symphony of Central Minnesota + The Lakes Artist Concert Band of the Brainerd Lakes Area + The Medalist Concert Band of Bloomington + Magnum Chorum + The Diversified Brass Quintet + Many solo and ensemble performances for weddings, church services, and special events.
