Wow, where do I start? I originally joined myspace to find that "special" someone, but I guess I proved you don't have to rely on cyberspace to find THE right person! I love ya D, and I am proud to now be JE PDK!! I guess you could say I am an old school metalhead! I lived through the day when Metal ruled the world, and I was there to help. Back in the early 80's a friend(Bob Muldowney--the legend!!) and myself started our own metal fanzine called "Kick Ass Monthly". This was before the internet, even before "hair metal" existed! Within 2 years of existence, we were worldwide and we became the voice of the then "underground" metal community. We were the first publication to print a picture of Ace Frehley playing live without his KISS make-up, we interviewed Metallica BEFORE "Kill 'Em All" came out, we forged the way! That era of my life was very exciting--meeting bands and going to shows all the time. My name even made it to the "special thanks" section on some albums(if you look at old albums and see KAM thanked, that was us!). In the mid 80's I started singing/fronting bands. The one I am most proud of was called "The Dead End Kidz". We existed in the mid 90's and were written up in publications(Billboard-thanks Eric!, Burrn!, The Village Voice)and played on radio stations(WNEW, WBAB, WCWP-thanks Chris TMC!-here in NY)all over the world. We gigged here in NY and made it into Manhattan a few times(The Elbow room). But, all good things come to an end, and we broke up in 2001. I wound up "retiring" from being active in bands on my 40th bday in October of 2003. I do miss it, and just recently, DEK has been talks to not really "re-form", but to do a recording project and see where it goes from there. Other than the "metal" stuff I am just a fun loving guy who doesn't take the world all too seriously and I just try to have fun and make everybody laugh. Thanks for checking out my space! ..
