Hi there! I'm a solo rock and roll guy from Baltimore, Maryland, USA! I'm essentially a 'blue collar' musician; that is to say, I perform lots of shows in bars and clubs, playing lots of covers as well as a few of my original tunes from my two albums.
I'm a rock and roll troubadour, for lack of a better term. The joy of performing is in the playing of music, so why settle for a 20 minute showcase when you can play for three hours? I do occasionally do showcases and such, where I play all my own stuff, too!
I've been gigging in the Mid-Atlantic music scene for about 18 years now, 5 of which were as a full-time solo guy (1997-2002). I have two albums out:
Simple But Effective (2007)
True Stories, Total Fabrications (1999)
I was also had a song featured on An Annapolis Christmas II. The song "12/23, recorded with Radio Caroline (2000)
I am also involved in several annual musical events here in Baltimucho: HonFest and The Baltimore Music Conference (http://www.baltimoremusicconference.com). In addition, I am working to ressurrect a benefit concert series that has been on hiatus for two years, The Passing The Torch Concert Series.
:::shakes head::: Nope, you hadn't asked about FaceBook; and yep, I'm on there (sorta) somewhere. **grins** ...So now I know ...Now you know ...and I'll find you!
Btw, how was your 4th of July weekend?! (Fantastic, I hope.)
Ahhh... as terrifying as I find most photos of myself to be, and as reluctant as I am to exploit them to/for others, I gotta say, "Your comments make it well worth it!" You never fail to crack me up. (The "Herbal Essence" and "Zoom Out/Back ... Eek!" are particularly comical.) =P Regarding the piercing... *ahem* ...yeah! it's way beyond me why you'd remember that! *blush*
Bottom line, you still have a way with words. ...Still miss your voice, though.
p.s. Oh yeah! and I think I'm back. ... Thanx for ever-so diligently knocking, ..holding your ear to the walls, ..peeping in through dark/dirty windows, ..and attempting the 'ol 'two tin cans and a string' theory! You're my hero. :::smiles:::
