BIOGRAPHY: Hi there! I'm a solo rock and roll guy originally from Baltimore, Maryland, USA! I'm newly arrived in Philadelphia, PA, and am getting oriented to the city and the music scene. I expect to start building the tour calendar back up over the next few months.
I'm essentially a 'blue collar' musician; that is to say, I perform lots of shows in bars and clubs, playing lots of my original tunes from my two albums, and tunes by other folks when appropriate.
I'm a rock and roll troubadour, for lack of a better term. The joy of performing is in the playing of music, so why settle for a 20 minute showcase when you can play for three hours? I do occasionally do showcases and such, where I play all my own stuff, too!
I've been gigging in the Mid-Atlantic music scene for about 19 years now, five of which were as a full-time solo guy (1997-2002). I have two albums out:
Simple But Effective (2007)
True Stories, Total Fabrications (1999)
I was also had a song featured on An Annapolis Christmas II. The song "12/23, recorded with Radio Caroline (2000)
I am working to resurrect a benefit concert series that has been on hiatus for two years, The Passing The Torch Concert Series. Looking for a venue in Philadelphia willing to host music-charity benefit tribute concerts. http://www.passingthetorch.net

Hope all is well in your world of blue collar gigging! It's World Cup fever over here, and the Parma Violets are singing their way to World Cup Glory with their tongues firmly lodged in their cheeks!
yes, i remembered that song well, very nice. i do hope there's some rockers on there too. it sounds like there will be from his blog. maybe he's saving those. let's hope....
please tell me you're checking out the new JC songs on his myspace. about 4 of them now. cool cover of Strawberry Fields too. i remember when the band used to do a cover of Come Together which was awesome too. loving the new tracks so far!
:::shakes head::: Nope, you hadn't asked about FaceBook; and yep, I'm on there (sorta) somewhere. **grins** ...So now I know ...Now you know ...and I'll find you!
Btw, how was your 4th of July weekend?! (Fantastic, I hope.)
Ahhh... as terrifying as I find most photos of myself to be, and as reluctant as I am to exploit them to/for others, I gotta say, "Your comments make it well worth it!" You never fail to crack me up. (The "Herbal Essence" and "Zoom Out/Back ... Eek!" are particularly comical.) =P Regarding the piercing... *ahem* ...yeah! it's way beyond me why you'd remember that! *blush*
Bottom line, you still have a way with words. ...Still miss your voice, though.
p.s. Oh yeah! and I think I'm back. ... Thanx for ever-so diligently knocking, ..holding your ear to the walls, ..peeping in through dark/dirty windows, ..and attempting the 'ol 'two tin cans and a string' theory! You're my hero. :::smiles:::
Hey John Just joined FB on Friday but haven't created the profile yet. hopefully i can get around to it today or tomorrow. i'm so psyched about NJ! i love Asbury Park and the Lanes.
I'll make it easy on ya! Come out this Thursday night to the Black Hole in Dundalk! I'll be doing pick-up for the Pretty Things Peepshow (from L.A. )! Show at 9pm!
I'm not ACTING in it... But I did help to costume it, build the props, paint the set and I run the lights every performance. So, I'm in it all over the place. ;)
