Unfortunately, I haven't boarded one yet! I was on a midnight walk through a residential neighborhood with a few friends, and we were near the alley in back of some house when I spotted what I thought was a shooting star, then after more of them appeared headed in the same direction, a meteor shower. Soon after, they grew in size and broke out of their cluster and started executing seemingly random flight patterns that were sort of “swoopy” and dance-like as one hemisphere of sky turned from starry night to an eerily red and pink overcast sky that sort of reminded me of tornado weather. They were still in the distance, but I reckoned they were triangle-shaped because their outlines emitted a red glow; when they came in even closer, the glow was from a series of dashed lighting units that lined the perimeter of the ships. I told one of my friends to take cell phone video to document it and show to you, which he did, in time for one of them to hover extremely close to earth and right above the block that we were on. At this proximity I could see the light strips curl up at the bottom of the triangle to create sort of a spade shape (I tried to draw it when I woke up, but couldn't). The rest started to follow suit and the first ship served as leader of the pack as they all formed a perfect line and moved from north to south and back into the sky where they circled around each other for a bit, and then disappeared. We moved along after that, en route to Floating World to show you, but had some obstacles and other adventures and I woke up before we got there.

I'm listening to 'Time and Time Again' as we speak, and it's really one of the more powerful and moving songs I've ever heard. I do hear the "dated" sound you were talking about, but I can think of some ways to update/embellish it a bit.

I like that, you should try to do something with it. I think I spotted the wise old tree this summer while canoing (the time that screwed my back up and sent me into the chiropractor) but I wasn't sure since it had been so long and there are quite a few old willows with similar proportions. Hopefully it's still making magic for the folks that care to find it!
